Clip Volume Edit Handles

Clip volume edit handles are graphically represented by blue and green arrow glyphs. use the pointer to click and drag them to new positions. This enables you to manipulates the extents of the clip volume and the location of the cutting plane. As handles are manipulated, sectioned components within the clip volume are updated.

The green handle controls the location of the cutting plane. The blue handles control the extents of the clip volume. The blue handle located in the region where the green arrow is pointing to, is considered the Forward view. The blue handle located in the region the green arrow is not pointing to, is considered the Back or Reflected view.



(1) The Back or Reflected view extents are controlled by dragging this blue edit handle. (2) A side extent is controlled by dragging this blue edit handle. The pointed tip of the handle's arrow indicates there is no limit to the clip in that direction. (3) The cutting plane is controlled by dragging this green edit handle. The pointed tip of the handle's arrow determines the direction of the Forward view.

You can right-press on an edit handle to open a pop-up menu (shown above). These menus offer additional manipulation options.
